Home to [us] is reality....... because we just bought one!!!!!
Andrew and I bought our first home on February 26, 2010. Through a VERY long settlement (6 hours to be exact...) we finally received a key to our first house!!! (the key was to the mailbox.. not even the house). Our house is located in Pasadena, Maryland. It's where we have always dreamed of being, and now it's one step closer to the water!! :)
The house we bought was a DISASTER! There was cat poop in the basement, cat pee smell EVERYWHERE, mysterious stains on the carpets, and dust an inch thick on EVERYTHING. And people lived here happily???? strange.... so we are GUTTING it! (I NEVER thought we'd be doing this!!) but it's exciting!! (never thought I'd say THAT either!) Almost everything will be new and fresh with OUR grime on it.. no one elses! :D yayyy!!
Since so many people wanted to see our pictures and our progress, I've decided to create a website just for it!!! I'll update as often as I can. We'll be spending most of our time out at the house, so let us know if you want to help! ;)
